Objectives of Foundation

About Us:-

Sundar Foundation,acharitable trust was established under Section 32-A of Registration Act 1908, Reg. No: 22-BK4-2021 by G.J. Sundar Raowith the objective to better the lives of the underprivileged. The intended aim  (but not limited) is to provide Medical camps, Homes for aged & destitute, Organizing Women empowerment programs, Providing Drinking water facility where the scarcity is at high  rise,Grant  free education facility for the poor and Street children, organizing infrastructure support for schools in selected region to name a few. At Sundar foundation, we believe every person is entitled to a worthy, meaningful and dignified life as mentioned under Article 21 (Right to life and personal liberty) of the Indian constitution.

We at Sundar Foundation vowed to put an end to this widespread violation of people’s fundamental rights, especially of women & children residing in the slums of Andhra Pradesh. We aim to empower them through education and employment by implementing models of development that are tailored according to the needs of the community.

Over the years, Sundar Foundation has grown organically and gained success in its programs.

  • To provide hygiene and abundant water supply facility to all the slum areas

Management Team:-

Mr. Galinki John Sundar Rao Founder & Chairman

          Mr. Sundar Rao is an Advocate by profession. He possessestwo decades of vast experience in social services. He always strives towards upliftment of under privileged individuals. He is the back bone of Sunder Foundation and act as instrumental in guiding the organization towards problem free destitute society.

Mrs. Galinki Prasanna Kumari, Co-Founder and Secretary.

          Mrs Prasanna Kumari is a Lecturer by profession. She is the key contributor in driving the operationsof Trust. Her eminent academic qualifications and enormous teaching experience assisting the Foundation to make over a value oriented society.

Mr.saiKiranPonukumatiExecutive Member.

          Mr.saiKiren   is a social worker by profession. He is working at grass root level to identify the needy and with the help of foundation, empowering them to the core.

Services:-

Sundar Foundationis committed to serve the community in the fields of health, Education, Employment, Eradication of Poverty, Illiteracy, Child labor, Women Empowerment and Orphans care, Aged widows and disabled irrespective of caste, creed, community, and religion, Color or Sex. Our main aim is to bring Social change among the rural poor to live and lead a happy and healthy life. Every year Sundar Foundation conducts various beneficiary programs for rural people. Few of the programs mentioned below highlight our vision and objective towards poor, needy communities. Bullet points as follows:

Educational Programs:-

Special classes for the poor (Economically and educationally) were organized and arranged couple of special teachers. More than 200 children were taught professionally.

Adult Educational centers were established at the rural areas. Hundreds of elderly people were provided with basic education. A library/Reading room was started at Administrative office. More than hundred people utilize library every day.

Women Empowerment Program:-

Women empowerment is one key area to make them self-esteem. Created number of awareness programs about government schemes, guiding them to utilize these schemes and make them self-developed. Formed more than fiftyself-help women groups and transform them to live on their own.

Also organized monthly counseling centers for distressed and depressed women, and make them confident and increase positivity in their lives. Every month more than twenty women attend the centers and become normal.

Livelihood and Community Development Programs:-

Create awareness programsto the poor, on government schemes, transforming them into self-reliant. More than hundred people become the government beneficiaries.

Conducted skill development programs to widows and highlighted their inherent talent/skill by providing opportunities in Tailoring, knitting, embroiders, toy & candle making, computer operations and many more. More than two hundred women empowered themselves by attending these programs. These programs were implemented at Bhimavaram.

Community Health Program:-

Sundar Foundation Conducted more than 50 health and hygiene camps in the hamlets and slums of the small towns surrounded Bhimavaram with a provision of medical kits. Nearly two thousand people utilized these camps. Also Conducted more than 50 eye and dental camps and nearly thousand sufferers attend the camps.  Foundation takes care of the eye operations for cataract and provided specs to the needy.

Child Care and Rights program:-

Sundar Foundation Conducted child rights awareness programs at Bhimavaram and surrounding. Hundreds of children attended the awareness programs to be basic educated.

Aged Care and Support Program:-

Sundar Foundation started homes for Aged and orphans. More than 50 aged and orphans were sheltered and provided feeding centers. For this noble cause, we received appreciations from Police department.
